The movie is a post-apocalyptic horror/science fiction film. the setting is in a near post apocalyptic future where a biological warfare program goes wrong, and turns most of humanity to mindless, murderous creatures (hence forth - "infected"). There are five characters, which are still uninfected, trying to survive constant attacks by the infected. each one of them represents in some way a different aspect of human existence, a different world-view, but most important, a different moral view about the world and his/her place in it - The Colonel - A professional soldier. represents the political-military-economic establishment, which sees life as a constant violent struggle for power and resources. The Doctor - Represents a commitment to love, justice and non-violent struggle against all wrong. The Wizard - A young man, an inventor and an autodidact scientist, who looks at life as a puzzle to be solved. he strives to discover, understand and invent, with no thought as to the consequences. The Daughter - A simple girl with simple ambitions - sailing through life enjoying every comfort, while ignoring or unaware of bigger and more profound issues. The Mouser - A murderer and rapist, evil in the most banal aspect of the word. The plot takes place during their last six days, a clear analogy to the six days of creation. all along, as the characters evolve, they listen to a daily radio program dealing with the extinction of the dinosaurs, finding correlating themes to their own situation. as the protagonists move and try to survive, and as their world views and correlations to the situation are gradually reveled, the following themes are explored: the essence of evil, the boundaries of moral responsibility, species (and humankind) extinction, love, grace, euthanasia and more.

Bad actors were given bad lines and some of the longest, most boring conversations and soliloquies about crap I ever heard.

It's disjointed and a mess… why do they keep going where they're going and doing what they're doing?

Where do they keep getting all this ammo and weapons that they keep leaving behind?

Why is youtube still available on his laptop during a zombie apocalypse?

The people who gave it top stars are probably the parents of the actors and the film crew.

Some movies are so bad they are good, this movie is so bad it's unwatchable.
There is a new plague in the world and… No, not a zombie plague. I am talking about the running-zombie movie plague – not quite the same. In order to make zombie movies more vicious, daft film-makers made the mindless dummies not just move faster, but sprint like doped up Jamaican 100-meter-dash champs. Sure, unlike most running-zombie flicks at least this movie gives the running zombie an excuse to exist: it was all a military experiment with biochemical warfare – original stuff like that. But it doesn't change the fact that a zombapocalypse with mega-fast rather than slow-and-clumsy zombies sets up an absurdly difficult, insurmountable challenge to the survivors, who don't stand an iota of a chance. It's like organizing gladiator games in which 100 large cats chase down a tired, three-legged mouse: not exactly an exciting, interesting or unpredictable set-up by any means. A million running zombies against four humans? Methinks even the cripple mouse has better odds.

Bizarre accents – another hot B-movie topic. AW is an Israeli movie in which nearly all characters speak with a different accent! We've got an American accent (used by the two guys), a German accent (the introspective doctor), even something most closely resembling an Afrikaans accent (used by the crazed bearded guy). Since these people are all survivors from the same city, such a wide array of accents not only makes little sense (though possible in theory) but makes the often ludicrous dialog even more comical than it already is. Just think of "Robot Monster" and the bizarre German accent used by the old geezer and how stupidly it contrasts with the others – especially given the already moronic dialog.

The dialog varies from functional ("Get down! Run!") to bizarrely philosophical. The German woman is constantly engaging Baldy in some "meaningful" conversation about the purpose of it all, the meaning of life, and in the least appropriate of situations (in-between clashes with hordes of zombies, for example). Sometimes it's comical, sometimes just downright strange. The long-winded confessional monologue at the end of the movie sounds like that legendary speech from Ed Wood's "Plan 9", especially the part when Baldy says "Don't dare?! Don't Dare???" I half-expected him to start shouting "Your stupid minds! Stupid! Stupid!!!"

Yet, the dialog, as dangerously close to edwoodishness as it gets on occasion, is the height of intellectual discourse compared to the daft and pointless narration. A deep, booming, bombastic, theatrical, totally cliché computer-game-type of voice appears out of nowhere every ten minutes or so, offering "insight" into dinosaur extinction! The narrator is clearly more interested in extinct lizards than what the viewer is watching. One of his earlier theories even suggests that rodents were responsible for dino-demise by eating their eggy-weggies: only later does he admit that this theory is totally passe and that an asteroid was the more likely answer to his favourite dilemma. He should have stuck to themes related to zombapocalypses only, since that's not an actual science hence you can talk crap endlessly without sounding like a blithering idiot. It's hard not to chuckle when the deep voice suddenly starts jabbering out of nowhere about some random subject that is somehow intended to clarify man's purpose in the cosmos. Pretty Edwoodian. In fact, it reminds me somewhat of the narration in "The Astounding She-Monster", another wonderful Z-movie made by one of Ed Wood's friends.

The four main characters can be clearly divided into more-or-less stereotypes: the young cheerful scientist who doesn't seem too phased about living in a zombapocalypse; the bald, by-the-book, supremely cynical, no-nonsense military guy whose inflexible face expression and lack of humour become slightly comical as time goes on; the German doctor, the movie's unofficial voice of reason and "humanity", spouting wise whenever she finds an opportunity to get a word in edge-wise i.e. whenever the narrator takes a break from his dinosaur-zombie analogies; and finally, the young woman played by a really bad actress, grinning like an imbecile most of the time as if oblivious that she's in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. Her character is by far the dumbest. That actress must have thought she was in a romantic comedy.

"There is no cure, because I made sure there isn't one!" Why would the military create a virus that had no cure! That makes absolutely no sense at all. There is this naïve, paranoid, mostly fallacious perception tirelessly promoted by the Western Left of the military being some kind of sado-masochistic, fanatical entity that exists isolated from the rest of society, run by deluded sociopaths hell-bent on destroying all life on Earth. If you're a fan of that other infamous Ed – Snowden – chances are you think this way. If "think" is the appropriate word in this context
